About the Artist:
Melanie Newlon is a consistently award-winning contemporary artist. Her work has been published in magazines such as "Sky Magazine" and "Washington Spaces". Newlon's art was recently selected for exhibit by Dale Lanzone, President of Public Art Marlborogh's Chelsea Gallery.

In 2008, her work with faery art was awarded by Brian and Wendy Froud. Her paintings and assemblages are privately collected throughout the United States and Great Britain; several of Newlon's works are in the private collection of Dr. "Patch" Adams. In addition, Newlon is a skilled make-up and face-painting artist, having worked with such luminaries as former Vice President Gore and his wife, Tipper Gore.
